THE SHUTTERBUG RETURN POLICY
The Shutterbug inc. strives to insure that our customers receive only the highest quality service and merchandise. However we realize that you may need to return an item to us. To insure full credit for your returns, please do the following:
- PLEASE INSPECT YOUR ORDER IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIPT. WE WILL ACCEPT RETURN ON ITEMS WITHIN 7 DAYS FROM DATE OF DELIVERY UNDER OUR CUSTOMER RETURN CONDITIONS LISTED BELOW AND 30 DAYS FOR EXCHANGE. WE CANNOT ACCEPT RETURNS AFTER THIS AUTHORIZED RETURN PERIOD. NO RETURNS ON REBATE ITEMS.
Call The Shutterbug inc. at (800) 260-1262 [M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST] or email service@theshutterbugonline.com for a RETURN AUTHORIZATION ("R.A") NUMBER. After 14 days (7 days for Digital Products, see line #7), any problems you have with your equipment should be addressed directly to the manufacturer. Your return must be received within 10 days from the date the R.A.# is issued.
- To assure full credit is issued, all items must be returned in ORIGINAL condition postmarked within 72 hours from date of RA and no later than 10 days. All warranty cards, product manuals, cables, software, batteries etc. must be in ORIGINAL, unaltered condition. Do not tape or deface manufacturer's original (product) cartons. Returns that are received in other than ORIGINAL condition will be assessed a 15% restock fee. Items received in non-sellable condition will be shipped back to the sender and no refund will be given. SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.
- Pack all items to be returned in a sturdy shipping carton (you may use the original shipping carton if you wish). Print the "R.A." number on the shipping carton. Ship returned items back by the most convenient means. We suggest you ship by an insurable method. Please enclose a "copy" (keep original) of your sales receipt.
- Exchanged merchandise cannot be returned for a second exchange or credit.
- Credit for returns are normally processed within 14 business days from the date we receive the merchandise. Credit will be applied to the credit card used when the original order was placed. In the event your order was paid by check or money order, a refund check will be mailed to you at the address to which we shipped the order, after check has cleared our financial institution.
- The Shutterbug inc. is not responsible for merchandise damaged by customer misuse or failure to follow instructions specified in the supplied owner's manual.
- Please note that the following items may not be returned:
- Discontinued items, special order items, and consumable items.
- Items for which manufacturers will not accept returns.
- Open units, units that require re-boxing, or units in an unsuitable resale condition.
- Items which have undergone revisions without being assigned a new part # by the manufacturer.
- Items with rebates
- For our local customers convenience, items may be retuned for exchange only at any of our 16 locations throughout Oregon, under the terms and conditions of our return policy, herein A difference in price will be issued as in-store credit and can only be used in these locations.
Full manufacturer's warranties on most items are supplied with merchandise purchased from The Shutterbug inc. Please refer any warranty repair or replacement to your local authorized service center.
